Chasseurs in Norway

Two sets of Chasseurs Alpins from NICOLARSE - advancing and firing. The section d'éclaireurs-skieurs (SES) is the scouting platoon (around 40 men) of each battalion. Each company also has its own skiers, in varying numbers. SES were sent to Norway. Only the skiers in the North of Norway (Narvik sector) were operational The figures are equipped with the modern MAS-36 given to Alpine troops part of the Corps Expéditionnaire Français en Scandinavie. They wear the reversible jacket, which can be painted khaki or white. The Adrian Helmet is covered in white cloth. (The figure walking is wearing the CEFS Khaki blouson with removable hood.). An option is provided for the SES of the 13e DBMLE, with Légionnaires in khaki beret instead of the wide blue "tarte" beret.
