Following the fall of France Germany repurposed hundreds of captured French vehicles for the German Army. One of these was 10.5cm leFH18 Lorraine Schlepper (f) Alkett, built on the chassis of a Lorraine carrier. These SPGs were converted by the German Company Alkett at the direction of Major Becker and attached to the 21 Panzer Division. Most of these SPGs would be lost in the battles of Normandy. Wargaming3D has just released a model of this unique armoured vehicle for those wanting to build a Normandy German force.
