The KV-85 was a stop gap tank using the base chassis of the well established KV series of tanks to mount a larger turret with an 85mm main gun which enabled it to go toe to toe with the German Tiger 1.Thanks to its 10+ amour and heavy anti-tank, the KV85 is a very expensive tank and, conseqentely, not something that tends to see a lot of action on BA table. That has not stopped Night SKy Minaitures from producing a lovely model of this tank. With such a great model hopefuly someone will give that tank a try. As with other NSM models the stl coems with Pre-hollowed and Pre-supported options, Commanders hatch open and closed options, tracks and hull available separately or in one piece, and spaces for 5x1mm magnets in the turret for magnetising the turret.
