Mad Bob Miniatures has added the Land Mattress Rocket launcher to their range. The Mattress was a rocket launch system initially intended to support landing actions with rows of Mattress Projectors loaded into landing craft and warships to soften up defensive positions on the beach. The design was later fitted on to wheeled carriages for land use by British and Canadian forces, particularly to support the crossing of the Rhine and Scheldt rivers. The Mad Bob model is provided with most rockets loaded, with additional rocket heads to fill out the tubes and some loose whole rockets for your crew to hold or to add to a display base.
