Rubicon has been teasing a new range of Japanese resin vehicles, starting with two versions of the Type 94 tankette - early (35-36) and late (37-38) production variants. The Type 94 was mainly deployed in "Tankette Companies" and were attached to infantry divisions for use in the reconnaissance role; 832 units were built. They saw action in Burma, the Netherlands East Indies, the Philippines and on a number of islands in the South Seas Mandate. Some were also assigned to the Imperial Japanese Navy Land Forces and were still in use until as late as 1945. This will be a resin project rather than a plastic kit.
